For many of us, these are sacred moments.
Shutting out the noise in the kitchen, we take a cup of hot tea and a book, curl up in a comfortable armchair, and successfully tune out the world. We enter realms where we can become someone else for a while. Through books, we live countless lives across different eras, walk through places we have never seen, and draw from the depth of knowledge of the generations before us.
In the interest of literature, even the laws of physics bend. After five minutes of reading, we absently take a sip of our tea, wondering how on earth it could have gone completely ice-cold quite so fast.
When we finally close the book and resurface into reality, we return perhaps a little hypothermic, but fully nourished—carrying a clear guide on how to transform any ordinary Tuesday into something truly remarkable.
