The iconic red vis-à-vis armchair became my own symbol of this place. It speaks of the forgotten art of conversation, cultivated elegance and the luxury of genuine human connection. To me, it is a metaphor for refined taste, the nostalgia of slowing down in one another’s presence, and the simple act of truly paying attention.
